Test of AVANT, CALIBER and ELIXR

In the test results you might be able to read that Rasmus wasn’t really warm when hitting the first AVANT golf balls with his pitch, why his club speed probably was a little lower when compared to the testing of the CALIBER and the ELIXR.

Comments from Rasmus
AVANT
Feel: “Very soft feel”.
Performance and distance: “Performance is really good, distance is good and short distance between longest and shortest shot (after 5 shots) which is really good for a 2-piece entry ball”.
CALIBER
Feel: “Soft feel”.
Performance and distance: “Also a very good performance, and again a short distance between the longest and shortest shot”.
Other comments: “A high pitch/sound when hitting with the driver, but it doesn’t affect the good result”.
ELIXR
“Already when I touch the ball, I can feel it’s a different golf ball”.
Feel: After having hit the first couple of ELIXRs Rasmus states with big determined enthusiasm “It’s got a SUPERB feel”.
Performance and distance: When Rasmus starts testing ELIXR with the driver, it doesn’t take a long time before he says “That’s the longest carry of the day” – he carries the ELIXR over 270m and his smash factor is very close to the perfect 1,5.
Spin: Spin rates are the same or very close to the spin rates Rasmus experiences with the best golf balls he plays with.
Other comments: Sometimes Rasmus said he expected the ELIXR to perform like this or that (spin rate, distance etc.), before he made his shots, if it should match the expectations of a premium golf ball, and then it did!
Price comments: “A ball with such an amazing feel and the performance and capabilities a pro player is looking for in a golf ball usually costs a lot more. If you want to buy golf balls in the same class in Denmark they cost from approximately 450 DKK / 71 USD”.
